In early 1998, Regiojet would lease out one MD-81 to operate out of Prague Ruzyne to 6 European destinations. As such, the airline would open up its second base, in attempts to make RJ-H profitable. These attempts would prove to ve fruitful as, by the end of 1998, Regiojet reported to make a small profit. As such, a second MD-81 would soon join the fleet, being shared between Budapest and Warsaw
